About
Built to
outlast the night.
Latina Awards is an annual institution honoring the women shaping culture, industry and public life across the Americas.
Why we exist
Latina achievement has never been scarce. The archive of it has.
For decades, the record of Latina accomplishment has been kept in fragments — a profile here, a footnote there, rarely gathered and almost never preserved with intent. Latina Awards exists to correct that: a rigorous annual accounting of the women moving culture, capital, policy and craft forward.
The ceremony is one night. The archive is the point.
The Mission
To document Latina excellence with the same seriousness the culture reserves for every other institution — and to make that record permanent.
The Standard
Impact over visibility. Evidence over reputation. Honorees are chosen for what they built and who it moved.
The Jury
An independent panel drawn from each category, rotating annually, reviewing nominations against a published rubric.

Recognition,
written down.
Each honoree's citation is researched and published — achievements, impact and the case for why her work matters. It stays online permanently, free to read and cite.
